Based in Preston, Lancashire, we have been designing top quality sofas and chairs for over 30 years.We employ over 500 people, the majority of whom are specialists in hand crafted furniture, fabric and leather upholstery. Tetrad was the first company to develop a fabric cover which would keep its colour when washed at 60ºC. This revolutionary process meant that we could develop sofas with machine washable and removable covers - essential for modern families! Our continuing commitment to research and development means that we are always exploring new ways of approaching sofa construction. In 2001 we launched the Holmes, the first totally recyclable sofa made from 100% natural materials. Using coconut fibre, hessian and full grain leather, the Holmes is built to the highest specification and is a showcase for the outstanding qualities of Tetrad craftsmanship.
